FarCry Multiplayer

Hey Did anyone get around to playing FarCry multiplayer

I saw heaps of people playing single player, especially BeStRaFe.

Just wondering if anyone got to have a lash at it multi and what was it like???

i started a MP server and had a fiddle with it... it seems pretty cool...



apparently sunlight glints off sniper scopes, possibly giving away their position

when i heard that i thought it sounded cool

Is there a patch out for it yet, half the time I end up using full auto fire the computer freezes, but other than that it's pretty specky to watch, especially the heathaze from pipes, and turning the flashlight on in some of the rust wrecks.

FarCry is givin my the $hits, it's a good game, but it keeps restarting my computer while i'm playing........no other games do it, and my computer never restarts by itself unless i'm playing FarCry, any ideas?

yep, there's a patch out.
whether theres a no cd for that patch yet, i dunno.

if i had something better than a GF2 MX 400, i would play it, but FarCry seems to want to make it burn in hellfire...kinda like BF:V

me and haha] had a small multi plAyer game of it. it ran pretty good but it isnt a game for small player counts. u need lots to make it really fun...

apparently MX's handle far cry really well
most of the eye candy is directx 8 and 9 stuff so yeah it goes pretty ok so ive heard

I like the way they run weapons on there too.

You can have 4, and you can get rid of the knife if you want to, how cool is that, as in how often in any of these games do you really use a knife, unless it's for a stealth attack, and far-cry doen't go into stealth much, better to get the silenced mp5

Yeah man ive been addicted to the single player but installed it when i got home from ccgl so didnt have a crak at multi
