Ripping Divx

Hey Guys, have any of you had any experience ripping dvds in linux?

I have no trouble ripping at real high quality in windows, but I dont know where to start with redhat.

Any advice would be great.

BTW, I reserve the right to backup my DVD. By law I am allowed to have at least one legal backup for personal use & not distribution. Just so we are clear & dont have to lock/delete this thread 8)
