There is a new patch from Microsoft regarding the RPC vulnerabilities that viruses like MS_BLAST, TROJ_EXPLTDCOM, HKTL_DCOM, WORM_NACHI, WORM_RALEKA used to cause havoc to Microsoft operating systems around the world a few weeks back. This is a different patch to the one released 2 months ago. New vulnerabilities are patched in this patch.
This is yet another CRITICAL patch that everyone should install if they are running an NT based OS (see the link or below for the complete list of affected OS's)

• Windows XP
• Windows Server™ 2003
Products Not Affected by This Update
• Windows Millennium (Windows Me)
Note Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition (SE), and Windows 95 also are not affected by this issue. However, these products are no longer supported. Users of these products are strongly encouraged to upgrade to later versions.
