So I am assuming these are 2 x 512s?

How much would you want for them?

suffocator
14-06-2004, 12:04 AM
well they are around the $500-$550 range new, and these are pretty much new as i havn't really used them, just stuck em in to test em and see how good they were and then back into their original packaging...
so something around that, or equiv,

Where you get these from ;) ;)

doesn't matter where he got them from.

also i think these are the same ones korik has, and if they are, they are blisteringly fast :)

suffocator
14-06-2004, 01:22 AM
yeah they are pretty damn fast from what i saw, i just whacked em in dual channel, and ran a si-soft sandra memory bandwidth test on em and it came up around 5mb/s, and that was with no tweaking and a computer that aint been reformatted for yonks (lol as in ALOT of -py spyware runnin around that i cannot remove..lol)
so with a bit of tweaking and if you want overclocking (i have not overclocked em) i reakon they would fly...

in regards to adware check out a program called "ad aware"

it actually does wonders for finding those data mining hidden spyware thingies and those advertising-specific cookies in your temp 'net files :)

suffocator
14-06-2004, 01:27 AM
yeah i got that and i always run it and it removes like 250 files, then after a reset they are all back there again, i am gona do a rebuild soon anyways, it is just getting stupid these days with the amount of - that is goin on with spyware and such...

All you need to be is protected and clean

ZoneAlarm, NAV, Opera

Ad-Aware found 0 signs of anything..

and that's with this install of windows going on 3 months now

Is this the fast Low latency stuff or the slow stuff?

sindows
14-06-2004, 01:15 PM
Fastest :D

Hal
14-06-2004, 01:23 PM
Nah i think its the slower stuff.

3200XL has latency of 3,4,3,5.
3200LL has latency of 2,2,2,5.

Its still a good buy. Ide bid, but my bid has already been out bidded.
if conrad falls, i bid 350.

suffocator
14-06-2004, 02:14 PM
lol i wouldn't really call it slow, that would just be stupid, it can out-perform pretty much anything else out there from what i have read in different reviews, and from my little play with them they are VERY stable and quite fast

Agreed, Its awesome ram, It destroys any sort of generic ram, but the LL stuff makes a big difference as well.

Hal

Make it $310 and its done.

Show me an image, and and if it comes with the warranty. But on account that i have found ram to be the most likly second hand item to buy, im kinda reluctant. Hence the drop in bid.

_conrad

$302 ;)

suffocator
14-06-2004, 09:37 PM
nah dont worry about it then i will just ebay em, get a better price, they are brand new only used for like 30 mins, and come with a lifetime warrenty so i think they deserve more than $310...lol

there are 3 versions of the XL ram. LL is the old XL.

the prices are 500, 550, and 630 respectivly depending on what comes on the ram.

Has it been used?

And how old is it?

suffocator
14-06-2004, 10:41 PM
i got it last week, and has only been put into a gigabyte GT Pro board running in duel channel to test it, no over clocking was done at all, all that was done was it booted into winxp and ran a si-soft sandra memory test on it then took it out, lights look good on the top of it too :)

_conrad
14-06-2004, 10:45 PM
How much do you want for it min?

suffocator
14-06-2004, 10:50 PM
