USB HDD.

F0r my laptop, if its a full size hdd in a big ass case it doesnt matter.
Something around 60GB would be nice. Doesnt matter if it needs power, thats all good. Must be USB 1.1 compatible. [and firewire or usb2.0]. Or if you dont have the HDD, just the case will do. MUST BE FULL SIZE NOT LAPPY HDD.

OR EVEN BETTER:
Could i just rent one off someone for a fiar price for a few days...like 4 or 5. Im going to a conference in sydeny, its international, its BIG, and they will have a fileserver and a filesharing system set up. Basically it will be a whole lot of RARE stuff, and im not taking my box down ont he train, so im takin my lappy and i need some HDD space.
TY.

Nah, im talking full on phat 60GB+

I got an email at uni saying that if i kept downloading at the rate i was, i would be charged. [around 16GB per week i was downloading].

Its a security info conference at UTS in the holidays. More like a convention. Its not a gameing thing, i repeat NO GAMES.

PRESENTATIONS LIST:
Win32 local exploits through the 'shatter attack' method - Brett Moore
The Art of Defiling: Defeating Forensic Analysis on Unix File Systems - the grugq
Bluetooth Security: Toothless? - Ollie Whitehouse
Security Impacts of Modern Web Development Technologies - David Jorm
Win32 One-Way Shellcode - SK
A Security Microcosm - Attacking/Defending Shiva, A Linux Executable Encryptor - Shaun Clowes

LAN:
A LAN will be available to attendees. The LAN will be used for some competitions and also general file and information sharing. We will also be providing a file server with a variety of freeware software. There will be both cat5 and wireless connectivity available. It would be appreciated if you brought your own short (1-3m) UTP cable.

Note, these activities are not games, they are exploit/cryptography based comps. :) How nerdy does that sound!

I think you have to pay to get in, but if you want more info, pm me or something.

I have an 80 for 80

Are you serious? $80? thats more expensive in terms of $/Gig than a BRAND NEW 160GB Western Digital 8mb Cache. They are $145. ill give you $50. Max.

I will also swap a 30Gig Western Dig 7200RPM HDD for a good quality USB or Firewire HDD case [empty]. Must be in good nick. MUST be USB 1.1 compatible.

Thanks. Hal.
