Yo General Fuctz0r, if you don't get a decent offer, buy a 9800 Pro http://www.umart.net/extended/product_info...roducts_id=2370 (http://www.umart.net/extended/product_info.php?products_id=2370) and then check this http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?locat...&var1=92&var2=0 (http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?location=3&var1=92&var2=0) to BIOS mod it to an XT

P.S. GeCube / GeXCube suck ass

James

yeah i know they do sevendust.

by the way, it still won't be a TRUE XT... as the XT uses a different core, manufactured at a difference process ( smaller .13 micron process AFAIK) and uses low-k dialectric technology to keep it cooler and running better...

so whatever "bios mod" won't be a true bios mod in the sense just like a 9800SE to 9800 PRO mod is.... (that IS a true mod)

i live and breath nvidia.

I hade a GeXcube, and it lasted about a week. I spent $10 more and got an nvidia, which now outperforms the ATI and is happier with my games :D

my first ATI card will be my last ATI card.

Im willing to admit that ATI x800 pwnz all and that ATI are better yadda yadda yadda, but in my fluke case, nVidia is winnah!

did i or did i not warn you regarding a gecube/gexcube purchase.....

i warn everyone.....

ALSO, what card have you got that cost $10 more than an XT and outperforms it?

and how much did it actually cost, i'm curious....

Yeah you did warn me.

I paid 280 for a Vivo GeXcube 9600 xt.

returned it a week later, with $10 and got a Leadteck 5900XT-TDH.

I havent yet overclocked it, but it has a 256bit interface, so im looking fwd to it.

Gecube can go . itself that cheap .

Bestrafe your card looks like what I'm looking for...would you consider $335 thats all I got right now...

That card comes with the HL2 Key, I'd want some kind of assurance that it will work once the release comes around.

good for you? you're obviously one of the lucky ones in the minority who have a gecube card that works without fault.

I've never had a problem with Gecube cards nor known anyone to have any serious problems, card failing, locking up, died after few months, ETC

These are thie OCAU top ten performers in aquamark. All these systems belong to members of the OCAU and there is a fair few Gecubes there and the one thats up the top is a Gecube

only issue i have r the flashing lights...but hey...i got used to the disco simulator eventually :)

General Fuct

well for a start they are so cheap because the memory in them is very cheap and nasty and I don't want to know what sort of strange things that could do to your texures.

I have a Sapphire too conrad the only problem I have with it is the Catalyst drivers make some games crash and PS 2.0 doesn't work with them. I have to use Omega Drivers which work perfectly for me.
