//. what is OK?

Please read the Code of Conduct here.

Although there are boards that do not mind thread hijacking, off topic posting, including but not limited to spamming or using a thread to have a chat with a friend, this is not welcome here.

//. Whats Spamming?

Spamming is when you

* Make a long series of posts that say virtually nothing
* Make meaningless posts just to build up your post count.
* Hijack someone else’s thread to have a gossip session with somebody.
* Having a private conversation that makes others feel excluded in a non chat area

If an Administrator / Moderator feels something is spam that isnt listed here it will be taken care of.

//. Signatures And Avatars

These rules are:

* To ensure the board loads for people with both 800x600 & 1024x768 monitors.
* To make sure it loads without delay for people on slower connections, such as dialup or ISDN.

Whats allowed:

Update:

Regarding the warning system.

The following changes have been made to the warning system on our forums. Please take not of it.

1. Maximum warnings has increased from 3, to 5.
2. On a user’s third warning, the users posting abilities will be suspended for 24 hours.
3. On a user’s forth warning, the users account will be suspended for 48 hours (2 days).
4. On a user’s fifth warning, the users account will be suspended for 1 week, it is then up to the Forum Administrators to extend or decrease this suspension with the possibility of the users account being disabled completely.

The above are a general guideline that our moderators will be following. This does not mean your account can not be suspended or disabled without 5 warnings, but that happening would call for extreme circumstances.

Note: Users currently on 3 warnings at the time of this post will NOT have their posting abilities suspended, how ever on your next warning, your account will be suspened for the 48 hours indicated above. Please take this into consideration.

If you feel you have been given a warning by the system unfairly, please email kaygo@ccgl.org or jason@ccgl.org and the issue will be looked into.
