more likely decoding. it mustnt have hardware support for dvd video decoding, which means you wont be able to enable hardware decoding when watching a DVD, its gonna be all software.....

After returning from the LAN and playing on my FX5900 I can honestly say the card is only slightly better than mine... it just seems to keep the frame rate up a little better when things get hectic...

I can offer you $450 as they are $540 new @ msy and even $570 at a local shop... no matter how 'young' your card is, it's still 2nd hand...
