the sims 2 error message!

the sims doesnt seem to want to install on my pc i get this error message when it gets to 23% "A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'G:TSDataControlcomtrol1.dat' from the media" is there anyway to get around this. :(

your disk is propably scratched or your h/d is full

its not the cd, and i have 26 gig left on my hdd so any more suggestion.

How do you know it's not the cd? Installed it on another comp since?
