Static Address + DNS?

Hey Guys,

Simple question.. I want to point the host and mx records for vi11an.com to villain.no-ip.com ..

Ive been told by my host, that I can not use a dynamic address for DNS, so i cannot host my own DNS server as was my original plan..

What I was hoping for, is someone that does have access to two DNS servers with static addresses (they make me supply two), would be willing to host the simple DNS information for my domain.

Any help appreciated ;P

weird that you can't use villan.no-ip.com as your redirect..the DNS server that you should be using is the melboureIT one(or whoever you purchased your URL from)

I tried to get a .com.au ... But too many rules (ie, the need for an ABN)..

thats what i did

adsor has his own registered domain name and i used

james.ads0r.com and directed it to jamesradmin.no-ip.info (remote admin) and then all i had to do to remote admin my pc was type in

james.ads0r.com


but if i've mis-read what you're trying to do i apologise, please ignore this

Does adsor use a static IP though.. If he does, thats exactly what Im trying to setup.. My problem is that its kind of a higher level domain.. Its straight off .com :P
