I just went and looked at my DC install. Looks like 0.8 or final was activated as a seperate mod to 0.7 rather than superceding it.

Which means I was on 0.7 for the comp. Just curious if the others had the same problem.

I was on 0.8final, if you were running 0.7 you propably wouldn't have been able to join the server. Plus the lag was only before the final round

That's how DC Final (which is unofficial) is MEANT to operate. Therefore making DC Final and DC .7 still separate mods and allowing you to play both at once.

It's completely normal... don't worry. We were playing DC Final coogle.

the lag in dc final is due to the extra sounds, you can either use hardware sounds in ur settings or remove the file sound_001.rfa in ur modsDC_FINALarchives folder

yep linux, that's what we mean... icefire's right..

The lag we're talking about wasnt chunder, it was network lag on gameserver #2...

Other than that the game ran flawlessly for me the entire LAN, not to mention the fact that my new pc can run 64 player co-op with no chunder atm anyways...

Also i did notice when watching fuct play on his pc when he fired the vulcan on the american AA M113 and it a building nearby the sound effects DID make it chunder a little on his pc... is that what you're referring to when you mentioned the sound lag?

server lag would imply that every1 in the server had lag, wich was not the case, making it some form of local setting or network lag, as majority of us had no lag at all, other then the 1 time that they shut the server down

This conversation is over. We're not dredging this up again, we already ended this conversation in several other threads where it got out of control, so lets stop it now before it gets into full swing here.

Kaygo, lock pls?

Yeah, this has already been discussed. We have no way of working out what caused it. We just need to monitor it better at the next lan if it happens again.
