You now have the option to specifically back up your cache files.

yes I know you could do it manually before. But I'm hoping this allows you to retrieve them easier if you need to re-install.

I read about this before, CD/DVD backup. This doesn't mean by any chance that someone could backup their files to CD/DVD, give the backup to me, I install the game go on steam and after it checks that I paid for it, 'tis all good?

Nah, cause you have to run it through the steam client anyway, and that checks against the e-mail addy you signed up with.

I didnt need the backup feature, I'm capable enough to backup everything I want anywayz

I like the backup feature...

I choose to make files no more than 4.7gig and backup to DVD-RW

Each time CS:S updates, I do it again...

The backup file is a selfextracting .exe
