Dunno bro. Not looking good for a Chrissy unveiling like I'd hoped.

The guy who's spraying it, his wife is pretty sick and could keel over at anytime so I can't really pester him to spray my car at the moment.

Oh well, gives me time to get everything else in order.

Finished the stereo. Now I just need some more neons, new locks, racing harnesses and a roof retrim.

Should come up sweet.

i mean, a mini cant pack that much grunt without a serious engine mod. and if it did, i think you'd want ot put a roll cage in it or somthing.. haha.

btw, have you ever heard of an Audi Fox? its like a early 1980's car...had a carbi' and all, 4 on the floor gear stick, in line 4 engine, and with a slight tuning, it could outrun a current model astra sport [the one between the factroy model and the turbo...itsa 2.2L]

i want me an audi fox again. if you come accross some pictures, have a go at modding them would ya? i cant find em, and i sure as hell cant mod em. belive me, ive tried.

btw, if he didnt already, that guy should sell the design for the car to merc'. he'd make a few grand out of it. meh.

Mini's can pack a bit of punch man.

Maybe not so much on the straight but on the bends and stuff like taht you can experience some serious G forces with the speed and agility of the things.

I regularly took corners in my old Mini with one hand holding the bottom of my seat because it felt like I was gonna be sucked out the door.

When the new one is done I'll take you for a spin. You'll love it.

You heard of any engine swaps for mini's? i think it would be pretty cool to have a turbo'd engine in a mini.

Lots of people have done engine conversions.

The most popular one would have to be a Susuki Swift GTi transplant.

I've seen Starlet Turbo's, Honda VTEC's, even a V8. There's a guy getting around Gosford in a yellow Mini with a turbo, so if you pull up beside him at the lights.... Show some respect or he'll give you a lesson on how to hit 120 in a little over 6 seconds.
