A Fps Better As Original Than Mod?

Okay is there a better FPS or any game for that matter, which was better than any mods that were made later for it?

I'm trying to think of one and I'm stumped.

This came out of playing KOTOR and Jedi Academy. AKA NWN and Soldier of FOrtune II

yes... SOF2 definatly not, cos the OSP mod is what made that game good for MP...

KOTOR i've never actually seen any mods for it... but it was soo good in the first place that i cant imagine a mod beating that...
NWN u need the custom content to make it good online... but thats not really a mod...
UT had Tactical Ops... HL had CS, DOD, NS... UT2003/4 i can't think of any really incredible mods off the top of my head... but the $1million comp will bring those out...
