This is a post dedicated to the hate of humidity.

If you are bored at work/home, make a comment about the Air conditioning at work/home or even how when you get home freom work your computer may be dead.

This is even a good opportunity to brag about the cooling system in your pc.

Heh.. my new air-con is cool, although they forgot to put a decent drain in it, so it was sitting in about 5 mm of water this morning, from yesterday's cooling effort. I had to drill a hole, now it drains nicely :)

I only put it in last week, and I am soooo grateful.

Well as you saw Reg my room is an oven and the insulation does SFA. I have an airconditioner, but I just have to put it in. It's hard finding a place to drill holes for a Air Conditioner.

At work I'm in cool air con :P However outside is lethal

why dont you just wet a tshirt and put it on?

that would be the smart thing to do wouldn't it, then you're not ruining a towel for no reason?

oh yeah and we're in the building that AGL used to be in, so they have gas powered air conditioners in the building, and it was designed for open plan, but now we've got partitions and offices etc so the air con is not working, the stairwell turned into a wind tunnel and the elevators are mucking up coz of it!!! :S

so its not even that cool inside :(

Heheh.. insulation only works before it gets too hot or before it gets too cold. Once it's heated or cooled it stays that way for longer

keeps the cool air in or out, and keeps the temp moderate - if the rooms already full of hot air, its just gonna keep it there :P

Just about built a new wardrobe in my room. If I didn't have the air-con I wouldn't have bothered for another year! :)

2day cause my room is upstairs and the aircon is downstairs, it gets heaps hot up here and it stays cool downstairs even without it on... i made a tube out of garbage bags stuck 2gether to make a passage 2 my room :D

I have the only bedroom in the downstairs part of the house, the downstairs aircon carked it 2 days ago and the other ones upstairs, my room is the hottest in the house being the smallest room, 2 computers, a tv and a stereo with most of it running all day.

But it was on downstairs basically the whole time..

Shadoxity's idea sounds good..
