RB35 is a nissan skyline motor afaik

08-12-2004, 02:19 PM
no.. no its not
there's an RB20, 25, 26 and 30. the RB26 is twin blown while the others are single. The RB30 is in VL commys to so for all you tools in VL's calling imports JAP - it is a nissan motor you a running unless it is a V8.
He may be talking about a RB30 with an RB25 head on it?

just got about as comprehensive a service i can get on my car,
AND GOD DAMN IT RUNS SO GOOD NOW
SOOO SMOOTH... still - i need to get the injectors cleaned and decarbonisation service, and then it will go like stink (well, as much as a 5M-E can make it go anyway)

give it a good 3 hour run on a highway at 120k an hour :D
my car is driving better than what it does after a service atm, good 6 hours of driving cleaned everything out :D

Go the toyota's........ mines 13y/o and still hammers... :P
Doesnt leak oil, blow smoke... although does seem to attract the cops though.. :@
Although most lowered cars with 17" chromies & fat arsed cannon running 2 &1/4" zorst seem to do that though.... :D

got that right - mines21 years old and doesnt blow smoke, doesnt leak oil, doesnt leak coolant, no head gasket problems or anything...
AND i dont attract cops because it's a cressida!
its asking for a 1jz or a 1uz-fe but i just cant afford it
(the people that care will know what motors they are)

youd wanna hope there are no leaks or problems with your car now james, after the amount you spent on a full service :S

the service was only $250... like i said it was replacable parts and consumables that got me
do you know how much it costs to get a full thorough service on an automatic transmission, replacing all gaskets and seals that can be replaced?
parts are a bitch... and it seems even more of a bitch for an MX62 cressida
mine didn't leak oil or blow smoke or leak coolant either it is just a unfortunate accident, but I have made the decision that i will get a new block and spend 8-10k building it up. 220rwkw and a 2way LSD is on the way

thats it sho3
when things like this come up you may aswell spend that little bit extra on what you were "going to do down the track"
the new sily will pwn!!!!
hell yeah builing it to handle 500ps but only putting 210 through it should stop the problem reaccuring
mmm 500ps, did you want traction in 5th gear sir?
on a what... 1.1 ton packedge?? :0 Ohhh lordy B)
