Whats the deal with gigabit ports at the lan? can we reserve one or pay extra for one or something? ($5+?)

As far as I know all Gigabit ports will be used for Game Servers.

this is true, gigabit is reserved for admin use only.

i.e. Game servers & the webserver/ftp etc.

Doubt it.

I don't see why you need gigabit unless you are running a game server.

There is no leeching..

Pings won't matter..

Im sure upon talks with Turrican this could be arranged.

But normal lanners just wanting to game/have fun do not need Gigabit.

This is unofficial, but I imagine that the gigabit ports will be for server / admin use only. In the past I have requested a gigabit in advanced for my servers.
