Say if I ripped the Vobs of every single Matrix DVD in the limited edition box set (which Im currently in the process of doing ;)) Couldn't you just encode those to meet the resolution of your ones?
Coz it would save alot of downloading and my server is on 24/7 and running at 3.2Ghz with a GB of RAM which is probably more than enuff to do some quality encodes :P

on the topic of high rez , high quality rips...
anyone know much about Ateme's NeroDigital AVC codecs...
i've been reading some DAM good things.. but and yet to find any tools to play with
nah blot0, got a link and I'll attempt to persue it...
Kittie, no, as DVD's are encoded to a 720x400 (or somethign around that) resolution, I could use some sort of fake increasing of the resolution but he results would be inline with that of the origional DVD for a huge file size increase :P(you'd end up with a 20 gig file:p)
once the blue ray DVD's are released we'll be ok though, as they'll actually have that much disk realestate to play with :D
CBF editing...
"The Matrix" will be finished in 12 days haha
