Steam Errors

Hey guys, the last few nights I have had a problem with my STEAM.

Some people may encounter the error:
"Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server was unable to contact the authentication server, 35)"

The first thing to try is just to click exit and logout of steam. Log back in and you should be able to connect.

A second method is
1. Exit Steam and Logout
2. Delete "both" the SteamUI.dll and ClientRegistry.blob from the steam directory
3. Reload Steam and let it update

its a server side problem not u. unless its happening on all servers.....than i dunno

The other reason for this is if you, go offline and have to restart Steam again. You can do local stuff, but not local server. But your "ticket" will have expired. Then you have no option but to re-connect to the net.

If you are going to a lan without internet, it's not a bad idea, once to get there to copy those two files Maj mentioned, then if you have to re-start steam, you can paste them back in.

I know he was, but I was giving some more info, as I have hit this problem a number of times, and these are some other usefull fixes. Cause I hate steam with a passion.
