Mcdonalds at wyoming should be online. I haven't done the drive by yet, but a little birdie tells me that they are up and running. There should be one in gosford. You need a mobile phone number and deep pockets to surf but it's there.

The point behind the access points is public access. I don't see them chasing away customers :)
I think you might run into trouble when you ask for a power point so you can plug in your extension cord for your amp/desktop/disco light setup tho.
It has a good range.

Tuggerah/wyong? Good question, there are 6 online on the central coast. I'm not sure where the other 5 are.
As for wyoming, we drove down one day and connected. You need a mobile number, it has capture portal software that asks for your mobile number, then sms's a password to you. The mobile gets billed at some high rate, $1 per min or some such thing. The speed should be 1.5/256... They are apamming out a signal for some distance. If you had two mates who lived on either side of mcdonalds you could just use their access point to link. There is no security until you try to web browse.
