These monitors are awsome, i highly recomend them.

Cyberjazz picked mine for me @ Phat LAN, I have 2 of them and am very happy with them.

However, speaker is quite quiet, So dont buy these if its only for the speakers.

A guy near me broght one of these at the LAN and it took 3 of us 10 mins with a compleate red background to find his dead pixel, could hardly see it, actualy couldnt see it, he tryed pointing it out to someone else a minute or 2 later and took him 10 seconds to find.

How much on shipping for one? Should of picked one up at the LAN.

What's the deal with dead pixels? The only lcds I buy these days have to have a zero dead pixel guarantee or be prechecked by me. Either of these two options possible?

Also I sent you an email a few days ago about getting a psu and I was kinda hopign you'd replied by now :)

Well my mate wont be interested at that price, but I'll try and talk him around getting a lcd with 1 or 2 dead pixels

As for the psu well I understood that you wouldnt be able to get one in time for phat, so I was letting you know that I am still looking for one.

These are $390 with 3 year waranty, and whats the big deal with a dead pixel.

/me wishes he had $400

nothing wrong with a few dead pixels, specially if you know a way that fixes some :P

I could cope with a dead or bright pixel at a lan, but not at home... especially if you buy the LCD without knowing how many?, where?, bright?, dead? etc.

I couldn't imagine paying hundreds for a home monitor and it not be purfect.

I can get a Sony 21" Aperture Grille for < $300, which is arguably the best monitor going.

Whatever floats your boat really. I bought 19" Viewsonic, which I rate as excellent as far as LCDs go, but am still considering the Sony option.
