MY mate is getting 1.5mbit in a couple of days but his modem isn't setup like normal, His manual says the plug the filter into Phones only, Not the modem, is this right because personally i had to plug a filter into every wall socket, and i am confused. I am mainly looking in damages direction because he is getting the same plan as you, so maybe you got the same modem....

Wtf? Plugging the filters into either your phone or wall socket won't make a difference.

...And why would you need to plug one up to your modem?

U plug the filters into any device situated on you phone system.

Eg telephones
Fax's

it doesnt have to go in every wall socket in the house. It just has to be inbetween anythink that uses the phone line. Except the modem
