OK, we have some pretty stupid weapon fucntions now that we are on PC.

So far they are;

CMP 150 - Secondary Fire
Follow Lock On.

This is basically either going to screw up the way you move (by making you look at em) or turn into an aim bot (by having the bullets fly towards them)

Sniper Rifle - Secondary Fire
Crouch

This is stupid as we now have separate keys for zoom and crouch.

AR34 - Secondary Fire
Scope

This is redundant as we can also now walk and zoom at the same time now.

That is all i have noticed so far. Any suggestions on what we do to these wepaons now?

Thanks,

CMP150, they have to hold it over the other person for say 3 seconds (an eternity while being shot at) and then it turns into the aimbot idea, but not very accurate... and make it they cant fire while locking on

sniper rifle 2ndary function should now just be the ut99sniper rifle 2ndary (as the scope button will be a snap to thing?

AR34... not sure really... have to think about it... maybe somthing to do with accuracy of fire while moving and scoped?

The thing is Alc, depending on what we decide the weapon selection interface is going to be like, we can use the mouse scroll wheel for zooming in and out with a scope. In which case, we're left with a lack of a secondary function for those scoped weapons.

Unfortunately I have no suggestions.

yeh hes right alc, so we have to map out the weapon selection interface before we work out the secondary fire of weapons, and also if we atleast map out weapon selection first we can make a definate decision on ALL guns for secondary fire

Way ahead of you. I'm not saying it's set in stone, but I have a plan.

Mouse wheel rolling brings up that good old set of rectangles with the weapon names in it. Rolling more rolls around to select on of these. Firing selects the weapon (and doesnt fire). You then have a quick change weapon key (all of this like PD)

So... we are still stuck...
