Does anyone know his 1337 hacker name? He would have had to go to ngl ccgl or at least a fragtribe.

Well i'm going to drink a beer for a fallen brother, and format my hard disk drives.

No he didnt, he was old school cracker. He does not attend the lans, and never has.. He did however attend the computer fairs and had a stand. His name was Bandito (or something like that).

Yes, if it was the bald guy with the tan, he was cool, if it was the guy who sweated a lot he was cool too. You know this means more scrutiny on the cc, so i want to know who and how much.

I know, but it's public now, so more attention, plus he is an aussie citizen so why were the charges not brought here and what implications does it have. Informed is prepared, and i want info.

no offence.. but who the fudge is DrinkorDie...
i've been around the warez sceen for atleast 10 years now. not as much anymore as i was... but.
not once in my travels have i come across that name..

i'd like to know what he did to piss them off to come after his no-name ass... or was it a case of, they couldnt get any of the big name crews so they took out someone small and easy to make it look like there actually doing something.

He aint a no-name.. They were one of the biggest.. They used to be called Vice, and they were the first Aussies on the scene. They made there name by actually being hackers / crackers.. Not just couriers.

These days they aren't nearly as active as they used to be.. But they still make a dent :P

actually his name was hew griffiiths and he was around his mid 30's and lived at berkley vale. I knew him when i was at school and *used* to hang around him years ago.... he was a f**king slob....

rarely showed, really bad hygiene and stunk of wet dog, smoked heaps and always wore a oldblack leather jacket. i mean all the pc equipment was stained yellow from cigarettes - good source for stuff then just went weird and i never heard from him again until he got caught...

and his name was bandito...

One of the main reasons DoD shot to fame cause they released windows95 2 weeks before microsoft did... and a .e load of disney stuff as well...

DOD co-released decss, which for all those rippers out there you can thank for your dvd quality divx titles. They were probably after him for that, the breaking encryption and all that, win95 is old news. They failed to get dvd jon, i'd say they want to settle on the next best thing.
