I used the latest MX1000 laser mouse and still cordless-laggy...

I still reckon the MX500 is the best gamer mouse ever...

i dissagree with that, i have an Mx510 and i'd have to say its quite better :P

its just so comfortable and smooth, no lag what so ever, its internet ready and its so smooth even on a -py surface. My desk has carvings in it where the mouspad sits and it still slides perfectly across them.

So much of a difference to my old microsoft optical, even though its not cordless the cord is extended so theres heaps and heaps of slack, lol no more pulling the cord out of the PS/2 slot :P

this is part of a review on PcgameWorld.com (http://www.pcgameworld.com/article.php/id/171/):

"If you want a higher frag count, this is your mouse for the next few years. In fact, buy two, because it’s a long road ahead, and you don’t want to be caught with your pants down if you break one."

Go figure... I went from a mx310 (wired) to the mx1000, and I'd have to say I could never go back. Much much better. Personally, I've never got my hands on a mx500 however.

id like to test a V4 though, not really a logi mouse man, the micros seem to fit my hand alot better

I started with an MX300, MX500, MX510 and Sebs MX700 on occasion.

Out of all of them, the MX500 + MX510 are the best :P

nah the mx500 and 510 are the bomb... every who i know that has bought any wireless mouse will always say that there is no lag but thats because they use it all the tim eor dont wanna admit that they bought something ......

plus theres no ongoing costs with the corded ones ie batteries and no breakages (ie when playing cs and getting owned to the max and throw your mouse(or is that just me)) so yeah

cheaper and beter all around :P

lol! (at getting angry during cs and throwing the mouse away :) )

If my mouse sucked I'd just come out and say it (or you'd know pretty quickly because I'd already be using my old one :)
maybe there is lag, I sure as hell can notice any, and I've broken/damaged more stuff by using a corded mouse because I'd knock stuff over in hairy matches of tribes with the cord.

Also rechargable batteries are teh win, by the time the builtin batteries are dead I'll be looking for a new mouse anyway methinks. if not well I'll send it back to Logitech :)
