got one guy who wanted to tell me how some buisness should be run, and another asking how to plug his phone into the power point!!!

i had one guy i had to call he sent me an e-mail to call him, so i called turned out he only had the one phone that didn't work and his damn modem picked up :-s

hahaha i'm lucky i'm second level support in Virgin .... so i deal with the real dumb asses that don't even know how to turn on their phone who have stuffed their service up :P

if you think its bad on helpdesk ... my recommendation is working in a call centre like virgin and you'll see how bad it can be with people and mobile phones

i guess i'm a bit luckier than call centre ppl, i deal with other IT staff in other companies so they generally have an idea of whats going on... but we still get the ID 10T calls...


(we log all our support calls bassed on type... 10T is the id for calls where the problem is occouring between keybaord and chair... ID10T)

i got a place that sells out phones call me today the idiot had a customer there and demanded a new phone caus this one was broke, 30mins later i convinced him to let me try solve his problem over the phone lol 30 sec after that all was good

yeah ... i think that working in any kind of PC call center is bad ... i think mobiles are a little easier cause they are standardised. Where pc's can be totally personalised by the customer... the only thing they can customize on a mobile is the cover and wall paper :D
