Linux command... Do "man rsync" :P
I use rsync to sync directories and stuff between all my linux machines I use.. I Just run:
rsync -ave ssh vi11an.com:/home/villan /home/villan
and the machine Im on, instantly has the same home directory as my main server :P

sorry to revive this thread, i'm going to try out linux and was thinking fedora core 4 would be good for som1 who has never used linux before... anything i should know or worry about? hopefully it will be a dual boot configuration on a system running win2003 server.
also, how is linux's support for 64 bit processors?

yer.. there is a 64 bit version of the ISO's avalible.
and linux has always had good 64bit support.. just needed to do a recompile of the kernel i think... windows 64bit is slooooooooooowly coming along.
