Who else is up for some XvT next lan? need to get a game running

i'm in, btw alc u play with keybord+mouse or joystick?

you cannot play XvsT without a joystick or gamepad device of some sort.

Keyboard and mouse is not an option in XvsT.

u can not start XvT without joystick + game pad etc but i'm prety sure u can play without one tho.

X-wing VS Tie Fighter, kicka$$ old flight sim game ^_^ one of the few games i actualy went out to buy

no


the autorun menu before you get into the game you have to use to select your gameplay device.

you cannot use the keyboard... all the keys are taken by functions AFAIK.

:-/ thought there was option in the ingame menu to change key selections, i remembered u had to have one to start up etc but once u were in the game i thought u could change it, meh not played it in years

i dont mind which one we play, but to me XvsT feels alot smoother and just overall better to play...

keep in mind tho, if Tie Fighter had MP... ;)


oh, and i used to use a Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick when i played online as part of the GE (imperialnexus.net) but i snapped that joystick, so i'm using a generic atm... will make sure i get somthing new before the next lan tho

hmm... seems the old GE site has bit the dust... u can still see alot of the squadron pages by google tho
