If anyone is serious about getting a 6800 Ultra soon, I'll let you know where I picked up 1 for $660 delivered. Not an american sent one...

Gainward... and I think its a dual slot 1.

I think the asus is one of only a few 6800s that are 1 slot profiles.

profile of the card... ie dual slot = takes up 2 pci slots??

1 slot ones only take up one? I think that's what is meant

Ahh I see, just never heard it referenced like that before ;o

probably would've made more sense if he had said "it's a dual slot one" rather than "dual slot 1"

i was confused at first as well. :)

Same as photo... there are 2 different fan/sink designs and it is same is this picie...

Stock AGP
2 slot design

Check it out here (http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/index.php?redir=http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product_info.php)

Mine came today... the Gainward expert tool is cool... overclocking and fan control is a breeze...

As a member of AusPcMarket (having bought from them) they offered me this CPU cooler I'd actually had my eye on for ages... for $38

I swear it took 10 deg off my CPU... I previously used a volcano 9+
