View Full Version : Lessons In 1337
Hey Guys, Iv been into this for a few months.
I first came across Kevin Rose when i was reading up on Kevin Mitnick. He did an interview for a show called "The Broken".
Well that show is now going really well & they have revamped it & called it "SYSTM".
I highly recommend checking it out.
http://www.thebroken.org - for some older episodes
http://systm.org/ - For the latest episodes.
The latest episode is about war spying on wireless cams. Its really amazing some of the sht they pull off.
Previous eps on thebroken have stuff like how to hack your xbox, ps2 etc..
This show is free to download online

hmmm, not bad at all.
i noticed with their wireless vid scanner they were using a spider omni antenna as the omni and a cantenna as the directional antenna.
1st -- The antenna's are both 2.4Ghz antenna's which is kinda cool.
2nd -- The spider omni antenna sucks, they have a worse output & input then a normal wireless cards built in antenna when connected to the external output. (i have made one and it sucked too)
3rd -- If it was cheaper to make it would be great.
The show is great, hope they have some more directly applicable stuff soon. For now i just enjoy watching it all.
Anyone know how well the MythTV stuff works on our local TV system?

have a geezer @ last months and this months Atomic
The did a guide for setting up MythTV on a linux PC in Australia using Free-To-Air TV.
Looks like it worked quite well - just gotta make sure that ur capture card supports *nix.
Other than that - no probs
Hopefully i will be setting up a lounge lizard soon with wifi and a decent HD for all my lounge room goodness with 5.1 :)
