Hey guys, iv had a ton of old games here for ages that I cant play.

Stuff like:

Monkey Island
Police Quest
Space Quest

Just recently i stumbled across: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

Its a DOS emulator that lets you play all of your old sht.

Quality program, highly recommend it.

Give it a shot.

Ahh I used to play those games when I was a kid, grew up with police quest and space quest on my old 8088 with CGA gfx.

Nice find, thanks for this MaJ. I'll definatly be taking a look at this

the site has a list of all the games that are supported aswell.

been round a while hasn't it? came accross this or somthing similar before i got my new pc didn't need it then tho had - pc :P

yeah, dosbox is mad... also look at a program called D-Fend v2... it's a graphical front end for dosbox, makes organising old games n stuff easy... i'm actually playing through the Space Quest Series atm with it

I'd tell korik about this, but last time i checked he had a "retro" gaming pc he'd set up just for win95 and dos games, ahhahaa

monkey island.. best game... EVER!!

i have all 4

monkey island, monkey island lechucks revenge on disk for my old amega 500 (with 1mb ram expansion card)
and 3 & 4 on CD for pc
:P

used to play monkey island so much back in the day i used to be able to complete it in only a few hours.

dosbox is sheet u are better going with D-Fend alot easier to use

I did this about 3 months ago - went through an old skool phaze and downloaded all the good stuff like zaxon and xennon
dos box is like sooooooo 3 months ago.

umm... you need DOSBOS for D-Fend to work...
