The article says it'll cost less than a good mobile phone..good mobile phones these days are worth what..$500+?

Even if its just over $300...thats still ALOT for a keyboard.

especially since you can grba a keyboard that's 'good enough' from the $2 box at a computer fair

Wouldn't look be as good form the bling bling perspective tho :D

there is a laser keyboard out or something i read awhile ago.

laser image projected onto your desk that tracks where your fingers go to do the key's etc.

LMo

That laser keyboard just sounds too weird, it wouldnt feel right, i wouldnt mind a keyboard built into my desk with a touchpad face..that wouldnt be bad, but hitting nothing...thats just strange.

The little screens in the keys of this KB would be similar to the outside screens on todays clamshell phones...

I must say, my favourite KB was the old IBM metal KB that had a tough clunking sound when a key was depressed... It was such a tough KB you could thwack someone over the head with them and knock em out...

faux, there's actually a club on the net somwhere of people who love those old keyboards...

and blot0, i remember reading about that keyboard as well, i think it said it was available now tho?

You can make one of these for $10

Just paint your existing KB with Black Spray Paint then get a pack of those little round stickers and a felt pen.

Then you are set...

AlCaTrAzz
