World Wind 1.3.1.1 Full Install

It's a program that shows the entire world in satellite imagery, but is 3d accelerated. Very nice program, dynamic zooming, It's been around longer than google maps, and is IMHO better.



Problem is, while the "full install" is the size outlined above, the maps are very large file sizes, therefore expect your broadband connection to be downloading many maps.

After being very interested in a previous version and fiddling for a few hours every now and then, I'd soon had my world wind folder over 1.6 gig large

Well the avg game these days takes up 3+ gig... I can afford a few gig for a noble app like this...

I've already found it hell useful...
