Firefox Q

I been using it for a lil while and have gotten used to it being my #1 browser...

I am doing a fresh XP install soon and I normally go and backup my favs but I don't know where to find them in mozilla dir...

anyone know?

Mine is: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

if its not there thry doing a windows search for firefox.exe

firfox dosent store any of its setting with the client files, for reasons if you update it or downgrade it .. you delete the entire folder .. adn it wont mess with your settings.

you can find it @ C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Mozilla
for firefox

and C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Thunderbird
for thunderbird.

if you are only intersted in saving your fav's and dont realy care about the rest of your settings ..

goto bookmark manager and you can export it to a html file with you can then (view if you want.. they will all be clickable links) import it later or a diff pc or whatever.

in firefox goto bookmarks and manage bookmarks then in manage bookmarks its file then export choose a place to save the html file and then all your bookmarks are saved in that html file and will reimport exactly how they were when you exported them

oh sorry, he wanted favs, i missed the favs bit, i thought he just wanted the ff dir :( my bad
