Just wondering what Distro's of Linux do people use for running Games Servers. In specific Counter Strike and CS:Source Servers.

Ive tried about quite a few including SOL, Gentoo, FreeBSD, RedHat, Debian, Mandrake, SUSE and a few others.

Ive narrowed it down to SOL (Server Optimised Linux) and Gentoo giving me the best performance. Im using a Pentium IV 2.4, 1GB RAM, 120Gb ATA Hard Drive and Intel 100Mb Server NIC.

Anyone care to comment on which Distro they like or had success with?

I look forward to your replies.

P.S This isnt really a thread about how hard the installation routine's are etc (I know Gentoo is a bit of a pain) but rather once they are up and running as a Games Server, the performance achieved.
