Mandriva (formerly Mandrakelinux), announced today the release of the first (and probably final) release candidate of Mandriva Linux 2006. The long release notes provide all the details, including information about fixes to printing, authentication, boot loader, look and feel, networking and the usual RPM package updates and rebuilds.
A total of 283 bugs have been fixed and over 14,000 packages rebuilt.
