sif need a pci sound card or 10/100/1000 nic when its all there onboard...

back in the day, onboard = cheap... but in recent years, onboard is quite good...

Saw this one a few months back... first thing I said was eeekk Intel :)

There's still one pci slot hiding in there.... you could probably even fit a soundcard in it if you watercool the gpu's :)

Seriously tho, its getting kinda carzy don't you think? The board would be great for finding out if 3dmark2005 can be cpu limited..... I think the answer there would be yes

/me runs off and buys the 2kw psu to go with it... ahh fek that I could probably just build a powerstation to feed the bugger

The board would be great for high end video rendering etc... think of how many monitors that could be connected directly to high end videocards.....

it has a spare PCI slot for a PCI graphics card.

the main issue is Nvidia "forgot" to release a driver with Quad SLI support...

Oops, lucky ATI's supports up to 32 GPU's out of the box
