Basically like Freelancer.....ummmm...but a lot better and the genre leader.

Been playing the retail version, quite good. Lacks MP support, but its a game that really doesnt need it.

Anyone else a fan of the series ?

Only just getting into it atm, pretty full on if you want to have a good go at it.

Beware...needs a decent system to run, likes to eat RAM and if you dont have a lot of ram, make sure your page file can get to 2gig easily.

yer ima fan of the series and when i tried it a few weeks back at work it ran damn slow!!

ended up running it on an amd64 3400+, 1gb ram, and an x800xt and i ended up getting about 12 frames/sec

so untill it runs fine i'm not happy

I suppose it's still got wierd useless measurements for time making the learning curve just that little bit higher lol

Patch up to 1.2 and it increases the speed slightly.

More you play, the faster it seems to get.....maybe im just getting used to it running slow, lol.
