Yeah my Bday is coming up and i'll have enough to buy a new LCD monitor. I had a few in mind and i just wanted to get a second opinion as this sort of this isn't something you want to rush into.

Basically i'm looking for something out of the umart catalogue and i had my eyes on a couple of things.

19 inch CMV (http://umart.net/au/product_info.php?cPath=46_204&products_id=102646&osCsid=33035005dc603d63e3d5e0a37f06bcaa)

17 inch CMV (http://umart.net/au/product_info.php?cPath=46_203&products_id=103633&osCsid=33035005dc603d63e3d5e0a37f06bcaa)

17 inch LG (http://umart.net/au/product_info.php?cPath=46_203&products_id=101338&osCsid=33035005dc603d63e3d5e0a37f06bcaa)

So yeah can anyone else point me in the right decision or give a good arguement for getting either of these.

Out of the ones listed, I'd go the 19 inch CMV. I've used them before, they have a thin bezel, really bright picture and perfect colour display.

:D

I currently have a 17 Inch CMV, but I'd like a 19 inch or 21 Inch better :)

Yes, Jiapei setup a whole heap at the ATI Crossfire Launch 2 months ago, I spent a few hours on them hooked up to Shuttle boxes. They'd be my first choice if I were to get a 19 Inch.

BUT I need 1600 x 1200 so I'd go at least a 21 Inch for my next LCD Purchase :P

no, its a limitation of the screen size. If you had a 19 inch at 1600 x 1200 it would be horrible, LCD's only look decent when you run them at their natural resolution
