I was just mucking round with my vodafone account as I ported from a vodafone reseller back to vodafone proper to upgrade to their 3g sim and noticed I got 100s of voda-2-voda minutes.

So I thought, with voda-2-voda, optus 'yes' time and so on, it would be good for everyone to post their network/carrier.

Domo, you can get a 3G sim for your phone and activate 3G on your account with no change to account, phone number etc...
