sd = scsi device
b = second disk
5 = the first extended partition on the disk

none of them are correct
it is the first extended partition on the second scsi disk

of course i could be wrong, extended and logical have always confused me

yer the answer is E

like linux_blahblah said..

sd = SCSI disc
b = 2nd disk
5 and upwards are the partitions within the extended partition.

so the answer is E
