NOTE: ONLY ONE OF EACH OF THE FRONT AND REAR SPEAKERS IS PICTURED, BUT YOU WILL GET ALL 5 SPEAKERS.
Selling due to me upgrading to something better (and more expensive)
They are presently set up and im listening to music through them as I write this, and since the front two speakers are identical and the rear two are identical, I figured it would be easier to just take a pic of one of each so you get an idea of what they look like.
So, details:
I bought these speakers as a 5 speaker package brand new (no subwoofer included) about 4 years ago, and have used them for roughly 2 hours on average nearly every day. They have never given me any problems and they sound great. Plenty of bass, rich mid range and clear high range. 99% of their life I have just played stereo music through them, which means that the centre channel and rear speakers hardly ever get used, and probably have no more than 50 hours of use on them.
The cabinets are for the most part in excellant condition, bar a few tiny scratches on top of one of the floorstanding speakers. There is no structural damage to the speakers, nor anything wrong with the drivers in them. The speakers all have gold plated banana type wiring connectors on the back, which also screw down for bare wire terminations, which means they can be used with virtually any ordinary home stereo amplifier. All the speakers come with their cloth grilles, which are in as new condition.
note: the stickers on the back of all of the speakers say they will run on amps of "4 - 8 ohms".
Just as in indication of how loud they are, played off a cheap 5.1 hyundai amp (which cost me $240 new) which claims to be 50 WRMS per channel, they are way too loud for my bedroom which is about 3 by 3.5 metres - sitting 2 metres away from them, it is uncomfortable to listen at full volume because its just too loud. Or, to put it another way, on my 50 watt/channel amp, these go louder and sound better than a set of logitech Z5500D's :)
