does anyone here use the aocn ventrilo anymore? i got bored today and installed it again and saw that there was like a million empty rooms and only a few ppl ive never seen before online..

1.6 feels alot more controlled and smooth to me, source just feels klunky. if u google around u'll find a similar statement but written by a cs expert with more words, but its a fair assumption that alot of the 1.6 community doens't want to swap over

yeah but imo I feel the exact opposite, that source is reall smoooooth .etc love the graphics and i just think its better in general.

yeah its slow and clunky on a slow pc and slow net connection (and poor default netcodes).. hmm kinda like cs when it first came out. Go back to doom2

it's not clunky in that way tho, i get smooth 60fps throughout, and the gfx are good on a 19" widescreen lcd... i'm just not a fan of the feel of the gameplay.

the original cs 1.6 is alot better when it comes to firing and stuff like that. Source half the time i aim on them and - happens and just screwed up, all the professional CS ppl still play 1.6

even i agree that 1.6 is better than source, valve released source to go "ZOMG LOOK AT TEH SOURCE ENGINE"

but then again alot of veteran players don't have enough money to upgrade to play source, being that alot of them still spend all their money on reefer
