Who owns one? What are your favourite games? What do you think in comparison to the xbox?

I like lots of the sport games and racing are also good within limits. I bought mine having the xbox as another choice. I chose the ps2 over my xbox as I prefer the games that don't have big aliens running round and zapping the . out of you with guns that would be found in 2050. Yea I know PS2 has some they are just not as popular and there isn't as many.

In summary I prefer PS2 for the more realistic games.

P.S. You can mod them as much as xboxs so nobody say thats why xboxs are better :)

the racing games that are little known over here that are mad drifting games from Japan. and gungrave and the usual racing and gta games. oh and it FREE to use online

Back the PS2 all the way. Im usually into alot of figthing typ adn racing type of games. MK on XBOX is just -.
Controller definately does it for me....oh and did i mention DMC :P

Frankly in comparisin with x-box ps2 always takes the cake, x-box was really a poor attempt at a next generation console clearly based on nothin where as ps2 is only just gonna get better snd better because its purely a gaming console plus we Have more games :P and not to mention ps3 late this year!!!

V8 Supercars 3 is alright, NFS:MW, Fifa games are alrightish.

but seriously to answer your question properly, i have the following titles (though i dont have a PS2 anymore :()

Metal Gear Solid 2 - Playable but i wouldnt go back to it,
GTA3 - gold
Madden 2002 - pretty fun trying to injure other players but not very interesting
GTA: Vice City - Everyone knows it so wont bother explaining my thoughts.
Simpsons Road rage - Meh
Dave Mirra 2 - ehhh not bad, but you know
Tony Hawks 3 - cr.ap
GT 4 - >*

and since i dont have a ps2 anymore maj, (assuming your getting one?) i am willing to sell you some of these titles reasonably cheaply.

I have both gun graves and all the devil may cry series. They fricken rock. just one big shoot em up with out having to worry about ammo. You just let loose with as many bullets as you want,

if sony continues how it normally does, wouldn't it be safe to assume PS2 games will run on the PS3? (same as PS2 to PSone)

All are going quite well.
