Frangipani's in Car windows

Okay hopefully everyones seen em by now, running around between jobs at work I'm seeing em way too much everyday. For those of you who dont know, its a Frangipani (some kind of flower) one or more, generally in the lower left or right of a car's rear window.

What does it represtent? They like flowers? They're rolling on a lot of power so I shouldn't drag them? Some religious cult? What? Do I need one so the secret socitety doesnt come steal my car?

2 cars drive past my bus stop everyday.

Falcon with bigger rimes.. Flowers top right.

Some soccer-mom van thing. Flowers bottom left.
