now the last day or so people have made scripts and you needed to edit the script in your perform and add channels and take away channels which i thought was too much of a hassel, and guess wot..THERES A BETTER AND EASDIER WAY!
just add all your channels into your favourites as usual and tick join on connect etc etc, now instead of connecteing to irc.gamesurge.net in your server options change it to Prothid.CA.US.GameSurge.net and click ok and then connect, the reason is apparently this server is alot closer to AUS and the reason u get the target problem is due to lag for us AUssies but this server should fix it.
for those of you who didnt understand my blabble its:
1. tools > options > connect > servers
2. edit your gamesurge server details
3. chnage irc.gamesurge.net or wotever ip u have to > Prothid.CA.US.GameSurge.net
