Hello um i was looking around the net and i saw that AOCN sponsers clans....I was wondering how to go about getting the same kind of sponsership deal with you as the other teams do....my team does not really want sponsers for some unknown reasons so if you can sponser individuals i would like to trial for that.

My team is on Gamespace pro ladder....Essence Gaming. I am known as Kraven on there.

Regards,

Spooke

Would be better if you sent them an email, or put up a more professional approach/proposal for sponsorship on the forums with relevant information about you and your clan.

Ok my website is spooke.150m.com on the results page you will see all the results of the matches Essence Gaming has played in. We are in the pro ladder on gamespace, we are hoping to send a team to sgl. I have a 2 vs 2 and a 5 vs 5 team. I have also talked my team into the whole sponsership thing to the point where they are dedicated to it.

I hope we can come to some kind of agreement...if there is an email that i can mail to about this could i get it...thanks

If you and your clan were so interested in recieving sponsorship from AOCN, you could have at least searched up the lil thread about recieving sponsorship posted by Adam (I believe). :/

Essence Gaming competes in Lan and Internet Comps...we are currently in the Source 5v5 Pro Challange League, and the 5 vs 5 open league. We are currently focusing on topping the Pro ladder so we are not creating a Game Arena team until we either get more members or until the pro ladder ends.

We are also a Lan Day of Defeat Team and Warcraft 3 team but we are mainly interested in Counter Strike Sponsership. We can offer AOCN advertisment on all websites/forums we are apart of. My personal webiste is spooke.150m.com

Essence Gaming has been around for 2.5 years. We have recently won matches against Executioners and Renegade. We participate in small lan comps every friday and saturday night...we are sending a team to sgl.

When I was looking after the Sabaki servers ages ago I used to get at least 3 sponsorship requests a day. Now the thing that made me pass over most of them is that A: I didn't know who the teams were in the first place. B: They really hadn't come forward and proven to the community that deserved anything and C: They all were saying the same thing.

If I was going to ask for sponorship the first thing I would do is become well known / liked within the community. People say a few words and BANG I want a SERVER.

Give before you receive.

Yeah byrons right, if you want to even have a chance of recieving sponsorship or at least give yourself/clan some positive recognition by AOCN, you have got to be formal wherever possible AND have to be known amongst the community as generally "good" people who are willing to offer something back in return (which is up to you to come up with something).

You can't just barge into a community, ask for sponsorship and expect anything yet alone a reply to you. But i'm assuming you're completely new to this sponsorship issue, judging from this attempt but do learn from it and try a more formal approach, such as emailing a detailed request for sponsorship including your teams history and such.
