Webserver Update



Hey,

Had a look at the webserver late last week, fixed up some bad inodes etc in the file system.

It booted up happily, complained about the CRT it was plugged into but other than that, sweet as pie, should be up and running today some time, ill keep you all posted.

Its an over the counter decongestant, in sudafed and the like. You know, for the flu.

How're thinks kicking on? we've been down for over 2 weeks now :(

hi guys, any chance of a further update? I assume the fix up wasn't as smooth as hoped.

If the server isn't back up by next week, it seems likely that we'll be waiting til next year. Lord knows I don't do any work xmas to new years :D

Hey,

We got new IP's and routing yesterday.. still sorting that out, im thinking about taking the ventrilo dir's off the webserver ( sitting behind me ) and uploading them to a box in the DC then change DNS over. Otherwise, we wait till the new HDD's arrive for the machine and do a rsync of all the data.

All in all, i can get vent up quickly, hosting not so quickly atm.

Well obviously you guys have been dealing with enough other stuff for the least few weeks, but thought i'd give a nudge to see if there was anything happening with the hosting box. We'd just spent a fairly solid few weeks getting everything shiny again so losing it is a bit of a bother.

new hosting machine is up and running, this site is hosted on it

still have the old machine, am extracting any data that i can, auscod's ventrilo is the forst casualty, ventrilo_srv.chn is totally unreadable, so that will have to start from scratch again

im trying to pull up ausns and a few other community websites it has on it, will keep you updated ( ill work on it this week )
